Tenure-Track Opportunity at OHSU:
The Department of
Behavioral Neuroscience at Oregon Health & Science University seeks
tenure-track faculty candidates in systems, computational, or translational
neuroscience.
Applications are
encouraged from individuals using advanced imaging or electrophysiological
methods to study the dynamic properties of behaviorally relevant circuits in
animals or humans as they relate to psychopathology.
The Department of
Behavioral Neuroscience is a highly collaborative department, with
collaborations among faculty within the department and between department
faculty and the broader neuroscience community at OHSU, which includes the
Vollum Institute for Advanced Biomedical Research, the Jungers Center for
Neurosciences Research, the Oregon National Primate Research Center, and the VA
Portland Health Care System.
We seek outstanding
applicants who have a Ph.D., M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. who are working to complete
post-doctoral training or are in early stages of an independent position, but
applications from all ranks will be considered. Salary and start-up funds will
be commensurate with experience.
Review of applications will begin May 15th, 2017.
OHSU places a high
priority on cultural diversity; thus, we seek candidates with a demonstrated
sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic,
cultural, disabled and ethnic backgrounds of OHSU’s students and employees.
